Summer is Here!

Summer has arrived in Okinawa, and today was the first day of 2009 that we brought out the pool!



Ethan looks like he could be a member of the Swedish swimteam...tall, blonde, and blue & yellow trunks!

Jackson steered clear of the pool today. He was perfectly content with the water table (and his rake).

Cat Wrestling and the H2O Table

You heard me right - cat wrestling and the water table. We thought we'd mix it up after the monotony of the park.

Jackson thought cat wrestling was all fun and games - he was laughing hysterically, but Spine was not impressed.

More Outdoor Fun

Break out the sunscreen...the 80's and the humidity are here! I apologize that the pictures are always of the boys playing outside. That's all we do; EVERY SINGLE DAY!

Are You Ready for Some Football?!?!?

Ethan finished up his football season. He had so much fun, and so did we. What a difference a year makes. When he was three, the coach could barely keep his attention, and now at four Ethan enjoys and participates in the whole practice. He has quite the natural talent too, which is good news for Daddy and Papa!

The boys were fascinated by something down there. Later Spine would runaway and get stuck inside an electric fence. Darn Cat! Don't worry, after a few kitty treats, he was safely removed and locked inside.

Valentine's Day Gifts

Happy (Early) Valentine's Day

There was a Valentine celebration at preschool today so we got in the Valentine-mood a day early. Here are some pictures of my favorite Valentines (minus Andy, he's at work).

Nothing new going on here....just school, work, and the park....as usual. Just some smiley pictures of the boys.

He can stand for about 10 seconds now unassisted. I was trying to catch him standing solo with the camera, but he kept grabbing my leg.

Finally! A Camera!!

Hurray!! Momo's loaner camera came in the mail today, and everyone was feeling photogenic!

Ethan was pumped to get Valentine's Day gifts but bummed that he couldn't open them until Saturday. Jackson too was pumped...over lipbalm.

Jackson does not see the point in a dishwasher. He'll gladly lick the food off of the dirty dishes for you.

Need help cleaning out the refrigerator? Jackson is available.

Of course Momo sent a cat toy for Spine. It was perfect timing as Spine got shots and a microchip today so he was feeling kind of blue.

Always the creative child...Ethan invented a crown/cat toy that you can wear!! Please place your orders ASAP.

Break Out the Water Table

Thank goodness it is warming up. We were able to do SOMETHING DIFFERENT today when we pulled out the water table!! Both boys had a blast.

Jackson is just the right height to play with his brother. FOR NOW, they are sharing the water table.

He's been begging to play with his water table. He spent most of the time squirting Spine with the water bottle.

Hard to believe he isn't even nine months old yet!??!
