A Trip to the Zoo!
We had a scheduled power outage ALL day so we had to get out of the house. We decided to go on a "surprise ride" (a destination unknown to the boys) to the zoo! Ethan and Jackson were pretty pumped. We saw all of the animals, but I only posted pictures of the boys. I mean we've all seen a giraffe before, right?

BIG Boys
It's been a BIG week for the Goldhahn boys.
Jackson had his one year checkup on the 27th. He is 30 lbs. and almost 32 in. Easily in the 100th% for each, but he is proportionate and slimming down. He's only gained inches in the last two months. Besides being measured, he also got five shots. Ouch! He's not handling them well...fever, diarrhea, and vomiting. Boo.
We finally got the training wheels on Ethan's new bike so now he's riding it like a champ.

New Wheels
Ethan has quickly outgrown his 12" Lightning McQueen bike so today we upgraded to a 16" Mongoose bike. Ethan still needs training wheels, but until we buy bigger training wheels, he's motivated to learn to ride without them. Go Ethan!!

Birthday Boy
Hard to believe that our big guy is already one. The year flew by. We had a fun day opening presents, playing with toys, and eating cake. He obviously didn't know what was going on, but he was pumped because we were pumped.

Happy 1st Birthday Jackson!!
Yes, it's already been a year...and what a year it has been! Crying, feeding, rolling, crying, crawling, eating, crying, walking, crying, and FINALLY sleeping through the night. We love you Jackson!!

Kitchen Cuties
Here are some cute shots of the boys helping me out in the kitchen. When I say "helping," I mean looking cute in the kitchen while I'm cooking and cleaning. The pictures of Jackson are blurry because I had to take them from a distance. If I get too close to him, he freaks out and demands to be carried.
