On Monday, I started a 14 1/2 week law enforcement academy. It is a requirement to be a probation and parole officer, and the subject material and practical exercises are necessities. The downfalls are 1) I have to stay at the academy four days a week. It was torture being away from the boys, and I still have 13 1/2 weeks to go; 2) I swore when I finished grad. school that I would never put myself through homework and classrooms ever again. I lied to myself as I sit here avoiding studying for tomorrow's test.
Since I've been away most of the week, I was not my picture-taking self. Andy and I were able to snag a few photos on our iPhones. Enjoy the randomness!

On Monday, there was the 1st Grade Character Assembly at Ethan's school. Guess who won the Cooperation Award?!?! Ethan!

Neptune thinks she is Grandma Vicki's kitty. We haven't convinced Grandma Vicki to adopt her because Neptune smells really bad! We love her nonetheless.

On Saturday we visited Santa's Workshop at Bass Pro Shop.

The boys getting clean after their monthly haircuts.

The good thing about the academy is that 99% of the time, I have Mondays off. Today was a good day to have off because my big boy woke up vomiting at 4:30 am. He is the sweetest sick boy.
