We ❤️ Dads

Happiest of Father's Days to my amazing dad. I love him so so much.
Not many men can multi-task, but my dad can take work calls while bike riding!

The Goldhahns spent our day in the Smokies. We hiked, had a picnic, fished, and then the boys swam in the creek. We then ate BBQ at a hole-in-the-wall place, and it was delicious!

Chatanooga

We recently spent a week in Chatanooga. Andrew had to help cover at an office there so the boys and I thought we'd tag along and explore a new city. We had lots of fun...the only downfall was that the water park and amusement park were closed. Major bummer! I guess we'll have to go back!

We swam at the hotel. A lot. Like three hours a day.

We explored the Tennessee River Walk.

We dug for dinosaur bones at the Creative Discovery Museum-possibly the BEST children's museum we've been to.

We road this fun train, which traveled at a 75 degree incline, up to the top of Lookout Mountain.

All in all, we had a great time!

I wonder where we'll explore next???

Hello There Summer!

School has been out for two weeks, and we are loving it. We've been taking advantage of our season passes to Dollywood, and visited the water park there three times in one week.

This week the boys both went to different camps. Ethan-Camp Invention, and Jackson-Bricks4Kids Lego Camp. Both kids had a ton of fun and asked if the camps could last ALL summer.

Here are some photos as we begin our summer o' fun!

Last day of 1st and 4th grade!

Woohoo!

Who loves summer camp!? (Where were these cool camps when I was a kid?)

The Angry Bird wall and village that Jackson helped build this week (he refused to let me take his picture in public...pick your battles).

Ethan's video game prototype that he designed himself.

And the drone he built. He also invented and built a robot that cures cancer. So much fun for this future inventor/engineer.

We are heading to Chatanooga next week for a mini vacation. Ethan is also doing swim team three days a week, and Jack starts football next month. Most importantly, we close on our house on July 9th! So much for the lazy days of summer!!
