Oklahoma Aquarium

A few weeks ago, we took the boys to the Oklahoma Aquarium. They received free admission coupons from their dental visit, and since we'd never been there before, we decided to give it a try. It was very cool and very crowded. There were lots of hands-on activities for the kids and an awesome bull shark tunnel! Enjoy the pics!

That's a BIG jellyfish!

Ethan petting a stingray. (Check out that kid's hair!).

Jackson is finally brave enough to touch the wildlife. Go Jack-Jack!

The bull shark tunnel!

AH! We're trapped in a shark diving cage! Super cool!

Aunt Britt's Visit

Britt visited for a long-weekend last week, and we had SO much fun with her here. I wish she could come every weekend. I'm in the process of finding her a job in Tulsa. ;)

We went to Cars 2, played in the pool, went out to eat, shopped at Goodwill, and went to the NKOTBSB concert. It was a blast, and it went by way too fast. :(

Love you, Sis!

Technical Difficulties

Sorry I haven't posted lately. I've been getting an "error message" for the last several attempts. I am working on it and will keep everyone posted. Thanks for your patience!

On a positive note...Aunt Britt is coming to visit tomorrow!!

Happy 4th (and 3rd) of July!!

What a great weekend, and it's not over for us yet! We've had some great family time this 4th of July. Rather than go anywhere, we decided to have a "stay-cation" at our house. We had the bounce house, the pool, splash pads, BBQ, fireworks, and tons of fun! Andy and I have today (Tuesday) off as well so we'll be heading to Big Splash Water Park to complete the "stay-cation!"

Just the cutest patriotic boys ever. Who were TORTURED by their mother during this photo shoot. I believe there were about 20 shots before getting this one.

We LOVE the splashpads....

Yes, Jackson likes to wear socks at the splash pad, and a shirt, and sometimes a hat and sunglasses. What can I say, he likes to protect his skin from the sun!

Front row seats for the first night of fireworks......

The fireworks-master and his assistant.....

Ethan bouncing....

Jackson bouncing......

The big boys went to a movie during nap time, and Jackson was feeling left out so to compensate for this, we made a cake for America's birthday (neither boy ate their dinner so they couldn't enjoy the cake, but Andy and I thought it was delicious)....

After two nights of fireworks, Jackson finally got the courage to do a sparkler. He then proceeded to do about 15 sparklers.....

Our little firework-master-in-training!
This kid examined EVERY firework, it's instructions, and what it was supposed to do. He then sorted them by size and awesomeness. We appreciated his prep-work before the neighborhood fireworks display.

Just Keep Swimming

Both boys had swim lessons this month, and both did great!

Jackson had never done swim lessons before. I contemplated doing the Mommy & Me class, but Jackson tends to be a lot more whiney when I'm around so I decided to just enroll him in the preschool class and hope for the best. It went better than I could have ever imagined. We had to fight to get him out of the pool, and he never wanted swim lessons to end.

Ethan was the youngest in his class, and he made so many improvements. He's doing the front crawl, back crawl, and diving. He's definitely ready for some sort of swim team.

Enjoy the pics!

So happy in the water (his Buzz Lightyear obsession continues-won't even take off his Buzz shirt for swim lessons).

Swimming like a big boy and blowing bubbles!

Back float is no problem for this fish.

He's missed the diving board since leaving Okinawa.

We love swimming!

Dads Rock

I am blessed with one awesome Dad. I'm also lucky to have a loving Mofa and an amazing husband who is the perfect dad to our boys. All I can say is DADS ROCK! Especially the Dads in my life.

Happy Father's Day Dad, Mofa, and Andy!!

Always has been and always will be my "Daddy."

One of the most amazing men in my life and on the planet. Love you Mofa.

A dad who loves being a dad. I couldn't ask for more.
