We officially have two kids in two different activities (swimming and soccer). Both boys love their sports, and Jack loves that he's old enough to do the same things as his big brother. The only downfall is NO down time. Our lives revolve around activities and homework.
Ethan is really getting into soccer this year. He understands the positions and the plays. He's also finally found his aggressive bone. He hussles and shoots goals. It's pretty awesome.
Unlike Ethan when he was four, Jack is not shy, nor does he fear the ball. I think Jack made six goals yesterday at his game.
Enjoy the pics of my soccer stars. I'll try to get some action shots, but I'm always too busy screaming and cheering.

Jack Jack Attack!
My youngest son is so sweet and so photogenic. He's hilarious and random. He loves soccer, Super Mario Bros., and his big brother. And I don't want you to think I'm leaving big brother out - he's just a too-cool-almost-8-year-old who goes running when Mommy wants to take pictures. I'll enjoy Jack's silliness before he becomes "too cool" too.

My Mofa
My wonderful Mofa passed away on September 2nd. "Wonderful" is an understatement. Jesus got a good one. We are in Michigan now to say our goodbyes. He was ready to go to heaven, but I'm being selfish and miss him so much.

Back to School
Ethan and Jack went back to school; Jack last week and Ethan this week. Hard to believe I have one boy in pre-k and another in 2nd grade. Both boys had butterflies in their tummies on their first days; Jackers even sprung out a tear. But now that we are back in the swing of things, they are loving school! Yay!

Branson Vacation 2012
This year we decided to take our annual family vacation to Branson, MO. What a fun place!!
We spent two days at Silver Dollar City-Branson's amusement park; one day at White Water water park; an afternoon at the Titanic museum; and an afternoon on a train ride into the Ozarks. We also ate lots of yummy food, road bumper boats, went fishing, visited a toy museum, and swam at the hotel pool.
We absolutely loved it! Ethan is begging us to find jobs there so we can move there. You never know!

New (AWESOME) Splash Pad
We tortured our children this morning and made them go with us to the Tulsa Home & Garden Show. In return, we spent the 112 degree afternoon with a picnic at Bentley Park in Bixby, OK.
Another splash pad mom recommended this park, and it well exceeded our expectations. It was HUGE and much less crowded than the splash pads in Broken Arrow.
Jack had a 'tude and would only allow pictures on the giant slide. He's kind of a diva.

I scream! You scream!
We all scream for ICE CREAM!
I've been away at training in OKC this week to learn all about supervising sex offenders and gps offenders. We got out of class early today so I dashed home for some fun time with my boys (I needed the mental break from the very heavy topics at training).
We rode scooters to the park and then came home for ice cream cones.
Daddy enjoyed Mommy coming home too so he could rest since he's still recovering from his appendectomy. We're happy to report he's back at work and off his meds!
We can now begin the countdown until our vacation: 13 days!!
