Back to School!

 Before we go back to school, a trip to the dentist for super clean pearly whites!  

These two LOVE the dentist.  Two times a year is never enough.

 The night before school started, we hit up Chuck E. Cheese (FYI: Wednesday night is the BEST time to go; it's empty).  We enjoyed pizza, salad, games, and prizes.

 We were fortunate to get a BRAND NEW school this year.  It is FANCY.  Love being in a community that takes so much pride in education.

SoDak Summer

The boys are having a great time in South Dakota with Momo and Papa. They're camping, hiking, biking, digging for dinosaur bones, panning for gold, and exploring caves. This week they head to Michigan, and then they'll FINALLY be home. Mommy and Daddy are lost without them. 

Summer Vacation: Montana!!

The first part of our long-a$$ road trip brought us to Montana to visit Andy's family. We have been married almost 10 years and it was my first time meeting them (stupid Marine Corps). We had such a great time, and the boys loved meeting their cousins. We also took the time to have a memorial service for Andy's brother, Bobby. We then spread his ashes at the place where him and Andy fished when they were kids.

Independence Day

We were so lucky to visit our families in Montana and South Dakota last week. We spent A LOT of time in the car, but it was worth it to see everyone. I'll post pictures from the trip soon, but here are some snapshots from the 4th of July spent in my hometown, Belle Fourche, SD.

We are also remembering Uncle Bobby and my Mofa. Their birthdays are today. We love and miss them. 

Let Summer Begin!

School's out for summer! We are all so excited. No more homework. Splash pads. Sleeping in. Space camp. And vacation!

I was able to hang out with Ethan on his last day of 2nd grade, and Andy went to Jack's last day of pre-k.

We've hit up several splash pads already, and Grandma bought us a new-to-us piano to practice all summer long. The boys even got to go to the zoo with my wonderful friend and her kiddoes.

Another sign of summer: our first tornado! We heard it, and it touched down only a mile from our house. It scared us enough to start pricing out safe rooms!
