Disney Roundup

I planned on blogging everyday during our Disney trip. Yeah right! We were too busy having fun! Here are the highlights!

We are already planning a trip back in 2015!  It was magical!

Disney Day 1

We made it to Disney World for a week o' fun!  This afternoon we stayed at the resort-eating, swimming, and burning energy at the play land. They are having so much fun, I can't wait to see their faces tomorrow when they realize how much more Disney has to offer beyond our resort!

I Wanna Be A Baller

Both boys played basketball this year, and both boys loved it. We had so much fun cheering them on, and we are definitely going to sign up again next season!

Hoping for a Super Bowl win for our team next weekend. But what to do this Sunday since no football will be on? Hmm.....

Belated Haxton Christmas

The boys and I traveled north to Kansas last weekend to visit my dad's family and celebrate Christmas. All six of dad's siblings were there. And their kids. And their kids. It was packed! And so much fun! I'm glad we live close and can hopefully see everyone more often.

Best part of the weekend was watching the Chiefs lose, but when you're in Kansas, this is the only giant helmet you can ride in. Don't tell Peyton Manning!

Merry New Year

Happy 2014!

Andy and the boys attempted a Star Wars marathon on NYE. They made it to episode 5 by bedtime on the 1st. 

Jackson made it until 830 on NYE, Mommy was out by 1030, and Ethan and Daddy were the late-nighters with an 1115 bedtime!

We did shoot off some fireworks (at 800) to celebrate the new year. As always, we are thankful for a blessed 2013 and are excited to see what 2014 brings!

Scar face

Jackson hates to lose; especially when competing against his brother. During a game of football, Ethan passed the ball. Since Jackson didn't want to miss the pass, like any good football player, he didn't take his eyes off the ball. Well, he caught the ball, and then ran HARD into our patio post.  The house shook, and I was surprised the pole didn't collapse.
