Super Kids

School's out for Summer!

On the last day of school we celebrated with Super Kids Day! I had so much fun with both boys and all their buddies. The school had bounce houses, obstacle courses, horse races, sumo races, and most importantly, Popsicles.

We ended the day going to a Tulsa Drillers baseball game and fireworks show with our friends. Drillers won 7-1! It was a great kick off to our summer!

Jack and his buddies enjoying Popsicles.

These kindergarteners won tug-of-war. It must be because they are FIRST GRADERS now!

Jackson's bestest friend, Jackson.

Sack race!

Sumo wrestling. Ethan won!

We were blessed with AMAZING teachers. Thank you Mrs. Wood!

You can bet I'll be requesting Mrs. Hoffman for Jackson when he gets to third grade. LOVE her.

So Proud

Today was Ethan's 3rd grade assembly. We were proud to watch him be honored for the Principals Honor Roll due to having straight A's all year. He then ended the assembly by winning the award for Outstanding Music Student of the Year.

Overflowing with pride!

Kindergarten Graduate

Jackson had his kindergarten celebration today. As of Friday, he will officially be a first grader. How can this be?!

Cuteness before the show begins.

Patiently waiting his turn. Be still my heart.

Jackson received the Math Facts Frenzy award for learning all of his math facts the fastest. Genius I tell you!

Still Mama's baby.

Six and Super!

The sweetest, loudest, smartest, sassiest boy I know is SIX! We celebrated the previous weekend at Frontier City. On Jack's actual birthday, I brought McDonalds to school and had lunch with him and brought cupcakes to his class. After soccer practice, we ordered pizza and ate ice cream cake. Thanks to all who helped the birthday boy have a great day!

My sweet baby.

The only time these two get this close is when they're wrestling. Boys.

Six-year-old with all his gifts.

Eating lunch at school with the birthday boy.  Love that toothless grin.

CAKE!

Frontier City

Jackson turns the big "6" next week. Rather than have a birthday party, he asked if we could go to Frontier City in OKC to celebrate. We all agreed, and we decided to make a weekend of it. We had a blast celebrating Jack's birthday!

Waiting in line for the very high Ferris wheel.

The guys.

Mama and her minions.

Ethan has already decided we're coming back in October for his birthday too!

Hat-tastic Teachers!

This week was Teacher Appreciation Week. The boys had different silly themes for each day. Here are pics from Hat Day.

I have been subbing at the schools 1-2 days a week, and now I know that our teachers deserve every ounce of Teacher Appreciation Week.

We love our teachers!

Field Trippin'

Now that I'm back to being a professional mama, I've been able to go on two field trips in the last week!

Jackson's class visited the Tulsa Rose Gardens.

Looking for minnows.

My very sweet (and well-behaved) group.

Ethan's class went to the play "Laura Ingalls Wilder," and shockingly, he let me take a picture of him with his best buddy.
